Finnish Customer Service Agent - Travel industry

Etraveli Group is the leading global tech company for online flight sales. We own online travel agencies such as Mytrip, GoToGate, and Flight Network, and provide flights for Booking.com. Of our 3,000 employees, approximately 40 people work in our Customer Service team in Uppsala. We are located in modern, bright offices with a fantastic rooftop terrace, just a five-minute walk from the central station. About the Role

As a Customer Service Agent (Travel Agent), you act as the vital link between us and our customers. The work is focuses on problem-solving in a technical environment. You will work in several parallel systems to assist our customers over the phone.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls regarding, for example, rebookings, cancelled flights, baggage inquiries, and name changes.

  • Navigate complex booking systems and ensure the customer’s trip is handled correctly.

  • Deliver high-quality service and handle customer requests professionally.

  • Report technical issues and customer feedback within the organization.

Paid Training and Working Hours: To ensure you feel confident in your role, your employment begins with an eight-week paid training program. During this time, you will learn our systems and workflows from scratch alongside a dedicated trainer. No previous experience is required, but it is crucial that you can attend on-site throughout the entire training period.

We work office hours, 08:00–17:00 on weekdays. You are always off on weekends and public holidays.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent proficiency in Finnish and English, both spoken and written.

  • Has strong computer literacy and learns new systems quickly.

  • Has a positive attitude and a strong service-oriented mindset.

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Proficiency in Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian.

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably over the phone.

  • Knowledge of booking systems such as Sabre or Amadeus.

  • Relevant education within travel/tourism.
