Assignment Overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect

What You Will Work On

• Responsible for the overall solution architecture within the project.
• Transform high-level business and technical requirements into clear, decision-ready solution proposals.
• Ensure solutions follow enterprise architecture guidelines, security requirements, and integration principles.
• Ensure solutions are practical, testable, and aligned with relevant development and delivery teams.
• Design integration solutions using REST, Kafka, MQ, SFTP, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop and quality assure integration contracts, API specifications, data mappings, and information flows.
• Support migration design including data flows, conversion logic, and system dependencies.
• Design and ensure quality of APIs according to established API principles and frameworks.
• Ensure secure authentication and authorization between systems using technologies such as OIDC, SAML, OAuth2, tokens, and certificates.
• Contribute to a robust channel and security architecture across internal and external systems.
• Follow solutions throughout the lifecycle from design to development, testing, and commissioning.
• Participate in technical workshops, design reviews, and realization planning.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and technical challenges and coordinate solutions with teams.
• Maintain clear and updated architecture documentation and solution descriptions.

What You Bring

• Relevant academic degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong experience in banking IT and solution architecture.
• Experience working in integration-heavy and regulated environments such as banking or financial services.
• Experience as a solution architect or senior developer in complex technology landscapes.
• Experience with architecture governance and transformation initiatives in large organizations.
• Knowledge of integration architecture including REST, Kafka, MQ, SFTP, and event-driven solutions.
• Experience designing APIs, integration contracts, and technical specifications.
• Experience with authentication and authorization technologies such as OIDC, SAML, OAuth2, IAM, tokens, and certificates.
• Experience in information architecture and data modelling including data mapping between systems.
• Strong analytical and structured way of working with complex dependencies and information flows.
• Ability to work closely with development teams and translate architecture into practical implementation.
• Clear communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• Comfortable working with business stakeholders, IT leaders, architects, and external partners.
• Experience with savings, investments, or securities trading platforms is beneficial.
• Experience from migration or platform transformation programs is valuable.
• Experience with FNZ platforms is considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of AWS and cloud-based architectures is a plus.
