Strategy & Execution Lead (Marketing / Medical Operations / Tech)

Velora Health is a rapidly growing HealthTech startup on a mission to address the leading causes of preventable death. Our goal is bold yet simple: to democratize access to a healthy and long life through the fusion of precision medicine, technology, and a holistic approach to health.
We started our journey by tackling one of the biggest global health issues: obesity, which affects 39% of the world’s population. Through our digital health clinic at Velora.se, we provide individuals access to the latest and most effective research-based treatments.
We’re ~20 people today — and we’re now hiring the next person to join our Leadership Team.
The opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be part of Velora’s Leadership Team and a key voice in strategy and high-level decisions. This is not a support role, we’re looking for a leader who challenges, sharpens, and helps drive the company forward.
We’re looking for someone who combines sharp strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You’ll help set direction, then take full ownership of a critical part of the business and run it at a gold-standard level.
This role is designed around your strengths. You will take end-to-end ownership of one of the following domains:
- Marketing
- Medical Operations
- Tech / Platform Execution
What you’ll own (choose one track)
Track A: Marketing Ownership
Build a growth engine that scales access to life-changing care:
- Own acquisition and lifecycle strategy across channels (paid, organic, partnerships, CRM)
- Drive funnel performance (CAC, conversion, retention, LTV) with a strong experimentation cadence
- Lead positioning and messaging in longevity and obesity care
- Build reporting/insight loops the leadership team runs the business on
- Build the team and/or manage external partners as we scale
Track B: Medical Operations Ownership
Scale a digital clinic that delivers outcomes, safety, and an outstanding patient experience:
- Own end-to-end clinic operations: workflows, capacity planning, quality, cost per patient
- Build SOPs and operational standards that scale across roles and volumes
- Drive quality systems, training, follow-ups, adherence, and continuous improvement
- Partner with medical leadership on care pathways and measurable outcomes
- Ensure compliance-ready operations and documentation
Track C: Tech / Platform Execution Ownership
Turn our unique platform into a scalable product that powers excellent care:
- Own execution cadence: roadmap delivery, prioritization, quality, and reliability
- Translate clinical and business needs into shipped product improvements
- Strengthen planning, QA, releases, incident handling, and cross-team alignment
- Build scalable foundations for patient journeys, data, and clinic workflows
- Help hire and lead key roles/partners as the platform grows
What you’ll do (in every track)
- Co-shape strategy, priorities, and operating rhythm with the CEO and leadership team
- Turn ambiguity into clear plans, owners, timelines, and measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional initiatives across clinical, commercial, and product/tech
- Raise standards, remove bottlenecks, and increase execution speed
- Be hands-on, this is a builder role, not a “slide-only” role
What success looks like
- First 90 days: Take full ownership of your domain, define KPIs and operating cadence, and deliver 2–3 clear improvements that move outcomes and speed.
- Within 6 months: Your function operates at a gold-standard level with clear metrics, scalable processes, and a roadmap (and team/partners) to support growth.
Who you are
You’re a high-ownership leader who can zoom out and zoom in, from strategy to execution, without losing quality.
You likely have experience from one or more of these environments:
- A fast-moving scale-up/startup where you’ve built or scaled a function
- A high-standard organization where you’ve learned what “excellent” looks like in your domain
- A strategy/analysis-heavy role (e.g., consulting, corporate strategy, analytics) and you’ve proven you can operate and deliver
Most importantly, you bring real craft in one core domain (Marketing, Medical Ops, or Tech):
- You know how your area is run at a world-class level
- You can set the bar, build the system, and develop the team as we grow
- You’re metrics-driven, structured, and decisive — and you execute with pace
Bonus (not required):
- Experience in healthcare and HealthTech
- Experience scaling a function from early stage into growth
- Familiarity with Swedish healthcare context
- Swedish language skills are a plus
Location & ways of working
We’re Stockholm-based with a hybrid setup. We don’t expect you to be in the office 100%, the exact arrangement is flexible and will be discussed based on what works best for the right person and the needs of the role.
