Client Director, Executive Search

Role Type: Executive Leadership / Highly Qualified Specialist

Overview

The Client Director, Executive Search holds full executive responsibility for leading complex, high-value global search mandates, overseeing multinational teams, and driving strategic client engagements across Europe and North America. This role is positioned at the highest leadership level within the firm and requires exceptional expertise in executive search, organisational strategy, and international business management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Global Client Relationship Leadership

  • Lead and manage end-to-end client relationships with senior executives, C-suite leaders, and global business heads across Fortune 500, private equity, and high-growth technology companies.
  • Serve as the primary strategic advisor to clients on talent strategy, organisational design, succession planning, and leadership transformation.
  • Own global delivery of executive mandates, ensuring quality assurance, governance, and stakeholder alignment across multiple geographies.

2. Executive Team Leadership & Operational Management

  • Manage and direct cross-regional teams of consultants, researchers, project managers, and senior partners.
  • Oversee workforce planning, talent development, performance management, and capacity allocation across global teams.
  • Lead operational excellence initiatives, improving workflow efficiency, cross-border collaboration, and delivery frameworks.

3. Full Lifecycle Engagement Management (End-to-End)

  • Own the entire execution lifecycle for global search programmes—from initial scoping and client briefing to candidate assessment, negotiation, and final placement.
  • Ensure best-in-class methodology application, data integrity, compliance, and adherence to international standards of executive assessment.
  • Direct large-scale global search projects involving multi-country candidate mapping, cultural suitability analysis, and international mobility considerations.

4. Strategic Growth & Business Leadership

  • Drive revenue growth, including pipeline development, cross-border market expansion, and long-term client partnerships.
  • Shape and execute TritonExec’s global strategy within Professional Services, Technology Services, AI, and Private Equity sectors.
  • Represent the company at the highest levels in international markets, industry events, and partner meetings.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • 10+ years experience leading executive search operations and strategic advisory engagements for global organizations.
  • Proven track record managing large, diverse teams across continents.
  • Strong commercial acumen with responsibility for multi-million-dollar client portfolios and global revenue delivery.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management, negotiation, and executive-level communication.
  • Deep understanding of the HR, professional services, technology, and private-equity ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across cultures and operate effectively in international environments.
