Assignment Description

We are seeking a Senior Pulsed Power Engineer

What You Will Work On

  • Lead the design and optimization of high voltage pulsed power systems (electrical and/or mechanical components)
  • Conduct theoretical analysis, simulations, prototyping, and laboratory measurements
  • Develop and implement solutions for energy transfer, impedance matching, and rugged system design
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments contributing to research and product development
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges
  • Apply knowledge of insulation materials, field grading, partial discharge, and flashover prevention in component-level designs
  • Contribute to innovative projects by taking designs from concept to prototype and production

What You Bring

  • Senior-level experience in electrical, mechanical, or measurement engineering
  • Proven track record in high pulsed power or high voltage systems
  • Hands-on experience with high voltage measurements and laboratory work
  • Expertise in component design, including insulation, field grading, and electrical fatigue
  • Understanding of impedance matching, partial discharge, flashover prevention, and failure analysis
  • Ability to deliver practical solutions quickly, focusing on prototyping rather than perfect optimization
  • Collaborative mindset with curiosity, adaptability, and proactive problem-solving
  • Degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field
