Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Algorithm Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance biometric matching algorithms for secure identity and authentication solutions
• Analyzing and evaluating algorithm performance using synthetic and real-world datasets
• Performing benchmarking, robustness testing, and quality evaluations to meet high requirements on accuracy, performance, and reliability
• Applying image analysis, machine learning, and AI techniques to enhance biometric algorithms
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into mobile, embedded, and cloud-based platforms
• Ensuring solutions align with privacy, security, and regulatory requirements

What you bring:

• Strong programming skills in C and Python
• Solid experience in image processing, pattern recognition, and machine learning / deep learning
• Hands-on experience with tools and frameworks such as OpenCV and TensorFlow
• Good understanding of biometric performance metrics such as FAR, FRR, and EER
• Knowledge of template protection concepts and data privacy regulations, including GDPR
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on complex technical challenges
• Experience with biometric systems, synthetic data generation, or liveness detection is considered an advantage
• A self-driven, results-oriented mindset with a structured and professional approach to work
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional environment
